It’s almost October, which means that it’s time for us to support a cause that’s near to our hearts: the fight against breast cancer. October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Impulsion Marketing Group will be thinking pink all month long.

Sadly, almost everyone in the Impulsion Marketing Group office has a story that involves someone they know and love and her (or his) struggle against breast cancer, making this a very personal cause for everyone on the team. The chance to push back against a disease that has taken so much from so many unites and inspires us, and makes the chance to build a career here even more meaningful.

Along with the social and emotional motivations we have for our philanthropy program, there are sound business benefits to being a company that cares as well. For instance, we know that most millennials want to be part of a company that’s making a difference in the world, not just a profit. By doing what we know to be right anyway, we make ourselves a more attractive career destination for sharp young professionals in the area.

We’re also a closer team thanks to our commitment to giving back. Especially during October, when we are more likely to share the personal stories of heartbreak and overcoming that breast cancer evokes, giving back helps us to connect as people, not just coworkers. The resulting camaraderie is part of what makes our office culture so unique.

If you’re looking for a worthy cause to support in the month of October, look no further. Check out our Impulsion Marketing Group Newswire feed for all the ways we’ll be fighting against breast cancer.

We set people up for career success at every stage.
